ABOUT

This was a personal project I made as a gift for a friend who is a big fan of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, so I came up with some concepts for a scenario involving both worlds and a bit more. This was all designed and produced in Photoshop.

THE SWORD
The handleR is made out of bone and is engraved with the symbol of its master.

The blood crystal on top (no actual blood needed, means that is loyal only to the blood of the owner by touch) will recognize what its master need, a sword or a wand, in the moment and release that one.

THE SHIELD
Powerful Elves seem to have control over nature and the elements, their clothes seem to shine with their own light, their blades seem to never lose their sharpness. This is one of those cases. Specially made by the most powerful elves and wizards of all times, this works as physical and magical protection. When not in use it looks like a simple warrior arm cuff; when needed it brings out a shield that works as protection.

THE QUIVER
Made out of black griffin feathers, the quiver is enchanted to fit as many things as needed. At first sight it looks like a simple quiver just with the arrows and bow, but inside there are many secrets kept.

THE BOW AND ARROWS
The bow is carved so it looks like it has roots growing around.

Arrows head carved to look like a praying mantis raptorial forelegs, with rows of sharp spines so it provokes more damage.

THE DIADEM
The diadem is an allegiance gift from the elves. They consider who receives this as one of them and will always come in aid when needed.
