Bamboo Institute Timor-Leste is a social enterprise in East Timor. While they have great products and a unique mission, they lacked an online presence and any marketing strategy. Over the course of 8 months, I worked with their sales staff to open and manage Facebook and Instagram channels, develop brochures and other marketing print materials, and re-designed their website. I also developed local partnerships that expanded their market. They end result? By the end of my 8 months, the client was receiving so many orders that they met their capacity, a first since their establishment in 2008. They now run customer service through social media channels and have a well-branded online presence.
