A documentary short about two boys who form a close friendship in a quiet coastal town, sharing passions for skateboarding and photography. As they grow up, life takes them in drastically different directions-one to university, the other to prison. Working purely with archival material to craft a narrative of these two boys and how they change through adolescence whilst exploring themes of race, class and the incarceration system. Murewa held it's world premiere at SXSW 2025.
