Working with Audience to push the hype of Virgin Media Stream to the next level, I proposed several activation concepts to shout about Virgin Media Stream. The client loved the multi-sensory 4-D billboard to promote their new streaming platform, with lips voiced by MC Neat for the TVC we invited the performer to interact at the activation with Kings Cross visitors in real-time, and sensory elements integrated within the environment for a unique 4-D experience. We used facial mapping technology that was sat on MC Neat in the backroom behind the installation.
Monitoring the crowd via cameras, the music artist was able to pick out passersby and talk to them via the huge digital lips, providing the public with a bit of a shock. The activation took about five weeks to pull together and included moving umbrellas and added smells, wind and lighting FX to get all the sensory elements.
