ABOUT

During a recent trip to Scotland I came across the village of Lybster in Caithness on the far north east coast. Once a big herring port it now has only a handful of fishermen. On the days I was there they brought in lobsters and crabs, their camaraderie was evident, close bonds built over time through their toil and a shared way of life, which, it seems, is far removed from the heady high-tech world in which we live.
