About me
Hi folksDue to the sudden closure of my previous employer, I have recently joined the legions of unemployed creatives in central London. I'm sure you will receive hundreds of applications for this position, so I will try to keep this brief and hopefully a little entertaining. My background is in publishing and copy writing, but I am also an experienced creative lead of print and digital projects. I particularly enjoy coordinating the work of several departments to achieve the best possible results for a client. My most recent role involved working with multinational corporates one day, and grass-roots environmentalists the next, with a little bit of rock band management on the side. I'm a good creative thinker, with a talent for turning off-the-wall concepts into useful deliverables. I am also used to producing or editing copy to a high standard, and to tight deadlines. I've interviewed D-list celebrities, reviewed songs for Eurovision, written copy for training manuals and newsletters for global sales staff. I've also ghost written columns for such giddy reads as "Recycling and Waste World". Yes, such a magazine exists, and yes, it's even weekly! I can also turn my hand to the more mundane tasks required like reports on newsletter readership statistics, and budget management.Samples of my work can be viewed at *, and thank you for taking the time to read my application without hitting "delete". Oh, and if you're interested in the rock band thing, you can see the 'fan-style" viral vid I made at *
