ABOUT
This illustration was inspired by the first anniversary of the “Woman Life Freedom” revolution, a
protest led by women that has not only endured but has become one of the most significant
and promising political movements in modern Middle Eastern history.
I approached this project with a provocative concept, envisioning an inversion of roles: driven
by anger, women become the perpetrators while the dictatorship is portrayed as the victim. Thefinal image could serve as a striking cover for a book or a Netflix movie/series that explores
these impactful events.
