We are programmed to believe that we need male validation of what we do, how we act, what we look like. We believe that catcalling is a compliment. That boys being mean to us suggests they like us. That as we grow older we are less attractive, less worthy, less valuable.

We need to unlearn these learning and teach ourselves new ways of thinking. Of embodying ourselves for our own wants, needs, desires. To be truly oneself is the highest form of being. To exist to be ourselves in whatever form that takes.

To be accepted and loved for who we are is the ultimate goal. So instead of worrying about what others think of you, ask yourself what do YOU think of YOU?
