After finally getting Annie to sleep, a tired Lauren finds John in the kitchen making some tea. John wants to go to bed and Lauren can’t help herself from finishing any task to distract herself from confronting how unprepared she feels to be a parent. Lauren is trying to be the perfect mother and the perfect wife and the perfect business woman. Lauren finally lets John in and Lauren realizes that she can’t do it all by herself. Annie wakes up and Lauren goes to comfort her. Lauren sits by the nursery as the baby self-soothes and Lauren tries to do the same.
