ABOUT

Creation and development of the campaign in favor of marine life. A series of actions and publicity pieces on the non-use of straws, disposable cups and other items, and on the care and responsibility of each one for the correct destination of the plastic objects consumed. The campaign revolves around respect for marine life and animals in general, environmental education and sustainability, showing the concern and action of the City of Florianópolis in the face of these important issues. As for parts and means, they are diverse, including online, offline, urban actions and interventions, which provide practical and sensory experiences for engagement and popular awareness. Film, strap for the newspaper, adhesive overpasses, sensory exposure in a container, in addition to giant inflatables in the shape of plastic waste like a pet bottle are some of the initiatives. The hashtag used is: #plasticomata, with the support of the motto "marine life is not disposable".
