ABOUT

Yahoo’s relationship with logos has been rocky. Some had charm, others lacked impact. The 2019 version got a lot right but felt static. So we chopped off everything but the exclamation point. Now it’s the YEP (Yahoo! Exclamation Point)—a bold, expressive canvas that adapts to what matters: breaking news, a sports highlight, a market shift, a new email. To celebrate the rebrand, we created a series of posters that tell Yahoo’s history through the YEP—from founding to acquisitions, buyouts, HQ moves, and more.
