About me

My work experience has given me the chance to design for an array of audiences, with briefs covering a number of sectors, including finance, business, the arts, retail, tourism and local government. More recently I have been working in publishing for Metal Bulletin designing on their monthly trade publications and also creating marketing material.

I have recently been promoted from Designer to Creative Services Supervisor and Designer. This has enabled me to refine and develop my organisational skills and abilityh to work to tight deadlines.

I have a proven ability to communicate effectively, not only within a team environment, but also at a client-based level. My position at HWR Media & Communications required me to liaise directly with clients from the initial brief, through to the presentation of concept development and finally the finished product.

I am dedicated to creating effective communication through design, particularly in the areas of typography and layout, and thoroughly enjoy being a designer.

My creative ability is supported by my skills in Quark and Adobe CS2 on both a Mac and PC platform. Whilst most of my experience has been in print-based media, I have a basic knowledge of building HTML websites and would love the opportunity to further develop my skills in this area.
