Concept
My Chobe Adventure is a children’s travel journal inspired by Chobe, Botswana. I wanted to create a companion that encourages young travellers to look closely, listen, draw and record their own memories rather than simply follow a sightseeing itinerary.

Execution
I developed a 16-page journal with a friendly explorer character, illustrated activities, space for personal observations, stickers and a completion certificate. The activities invite children to engage with Chobe’s wildlife and surroundings through curiosity and play. I brought the experience together through an accessible layout, expressive typography and a colourful visual world.

Results
The project became a complete journal concept that shows how editorial design and playful activities can turn a trip into a personal learning experience. It also provides a starting point for a wider series of destination-based children’s journals.
