ABOUT

For a country that depends on the sea, the problem of garbage in the oceans has even more serious consequences. For this reason, the Cape Verde Ministry of Maritime Economy wanted to take advantage of World Oceans Day, which takes place on June 8, to raise awareness among all Cape Verdeans about the danger posed by garbage, especially plastics.
As a solution, the agency proposed a guerrilla action in which hidden cameras caught the reaction of customers of a restaurant when they were served with plastics mixed with the food.
The result was put together in a video that was disseminated via social networks and which has caused great repercussion in that country until today, having even been awarded in advertising festivals.
