ABOUT
How do you represent a country made up of islands, connections, and human relationships?
That question was the starting point for "Doors", BCA's latest campaign. Using a door as the central storytelling device, the film travels across the different islands of Cabo Verde, revealing landscapes, faces, stories, and moments that help portray the country's identity.
More than a visual element, the door becomes a symbol of proximity, connection, and presence. A way of expressing a bank that has been part of Cabo Verdean life and has accompanied the country for more than three decades.
The campaign gains an additional emotional dimension through its soundtrack, a new interpretation of "Porton di Nôs Ilhas", a Cape Verdean musical classic composed by Renato Cardoso and immortalized by Os Tubarões through the voice of Ildo Lobo. This new version, performed by Alberto Koenig, brings a contemporary touch to the song while preserving its essence.
Filmed across all the islands of the archipelago, "Doors" is a celebration of Cabo Verde, its diversity, its culture, and the connections that unite its people from one island to another.
