ABOUT
Game Chair 3D Modeling and Rendering Showcase
In 2019, I completed a freelance project that presented several challenges. The only references provided were three low-quality images of a gaming chair, making accurate modeling difficult. Fortunately, I had previous experience with a similar project, which gave me an understanding of the proportions and scale, allowing me to proceed with confidence. The 3D hard surface modeling phase took approximately 30-40 hours. The workflow was smooth, but the UV unwrapping proved to be more challenging. I had to ensure that all fabric parts maintained a consistent UV scale while also meeting the client’s request for a non-combined 3D model. To achieve this, I employed a time-intensive but effective method.Additionally, the client requested a highly realistic embroidered logo. To meet this requirement, I manually created the embroidery using splines, a process that was intricate and time-consuming, but ultimately delivered the desired result.Applications used - 3DS Max / Keyshot / Photoshop
