About me

I am an extremely ambitious and determined multimedia journalist. I have the ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team paying attention to detail.
I am confident working across a range of disciplines and has reflected in my final degree classification obtaining a 2:1.

Having specialised in all aspects of journalism including print & online, my written and verbal skills are excellent. Through my degree I have maintained sufficient work experience including Seven Hills Communication Consultancy Agency, LOOK Magazine (Features and Beauty), Asiana Magazine, BBC World, Studio Five Live & ITV it's through this I had managed to obtain freelance work, which included covering Film Premieres for LOOK Magazine and wrote copy for Look.co.uk within their Beauty sector.
Over the past year I have gained sound understanding of the importance of paying attention to detail, time management and meeting deadlines. I am a highly organised individual with a can do attitude no matter how small or big the job.

Through my extensive work experience I have attained where my passion lies. My experience includes:

Pitching to Journalists.

Writing copy for online.

Assisting on photo shoots.

Editorial & Admin assistance.
Researching for new products.
Editorial and Picture research.

Liaising with PR Executives.

I am fluent with all Windows and Mac OS programs, including Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro and Illustrator. With additional, basic understanding of QuarkXPress.
