I was asked to design a logo for a new play-centre in Huapai, Auckland. The client wanted the design to convey their desire for the centre to have a homely feel, show growth and development - and include a caterpillar! I incorporated the element of the butterfly into the logo and the caterpillar is featured on the reverse of the business card. The homely feel objective is reflected in the use of earthy hues along with the Dr. Seuss quote on the business card. For contrast and to draw attention to the logo I added a deep pink to the colour palette.
