Concept
After launching our new agency branding earlier in the year, we were keen to utilise our bolder, typographic approach on a promotional campaign for the 2023 festive season. Our inspiration came from the 'dingbat' conundrums you often find in traditional Christmas crackers. Thus came the concept for ’The Twelve Songs of Christmas’ – a dozen festive hits hidden in plain type.

Execution
Over a series of twelve animated social posts culminating on Christmas Eve, our followers were asked to guess the Yuletide song – some a little more tricky than others! In addition to the digital presence and given our love for type and print, we collated the dingbats into a graphic poster that also doubled up as a Christmas card, which was mailed to our clients and industry friends. The neat typographic lock-up of the campaign title even made the perfect Christmas tree – metaphorically ‘killing' multiple Partridges with one pear.

Results
There was one final element to the campaign – a Christmas quiz! After receiving the card in the post, people were offered the chance to win a festive hamper by answering the questions via a Typeform competition. Suffice to say, plenty of fun was had by all who entered, with the lucky winner enjoying their seasonal treat.
