Concept - a video for London based rapper, PianWooo's song, which is about learning to do what you want to do with your life, and taking advantage of opportunities. Lyrics use colour to portray this ("life is colourful, do not waste your colour). Client wanted the video to make use of colour and contrast it with scenes with a blander look.

Shot over three days in 3 locations, I handmade a backdrop made out of different coloured string and tied some to his hands (the feeling of being tied down when you want to explore your options more). We then use a white background for 2 other shots in the studio using different coloured lighting setups. Second location was an exterior using a car park to silhouette the artist, and use special effects to fill the background with a black and white animation. Third location was the top of the car park, which was another grey scene.

The result was a video which contrasted scenes of colour with 'grey' scenes, using minimal budget. A lot of visual effects were used in the final edit.
