Concept
The idea behind this photoshoot was to explore the interplay of light, texture, and reflection using a roll of aluminum foil as the primary element.
Execution
The setup involved wrapping and crumpling aluminum foil to create reflective surfaces that would catch and scatter light in unpredictable ways. A combination of direct and diffused lighting was used to emphasize both harsh reflections and soft, glowing highlights. The subject was positioned at different angles to interact with the reflections, creating unique distortions and fragmented compositions. A mix of close-up and mid-range shots captured the contrast between the sharp metallic reflections and the softness of the model’s features.
Results
The final images showcased a visually compelling mix of surrealism and elegance. The reflections created a dreamlike, making the subject appear fragmented yet beautifully composed.
