Tanner Williams, a queer, former hyper-orthodox Mormon from Provo, Utah, debuts with “Shiversucker,” confronting their family's cult origins. Reimagining their polygamous ancestry through a dark-humored, sex-positive, queer lens, Tanner explores freedom, drawing from personal experiences under oppressive religious expectations.
