ABOUT

This is a brand created for a mother & daughter team that loves rejuvenating old furniture. They also love kingfisher and vivid bright colours, so it was no brainer that their logo mark will be exactly that. A kingfisher. Along with their initial in their brand name, I designed a clean serif font in deep brown colour allowing the bird to be the main focus with all its bright colours.

The extended line of the E with the kingfishers beak, is deliberately designed this way, in to create a linear shape of a house!
The secondary font is a more playful signature style font to soften the weight of the rest of the logo.
