MoZeus Worldwide, the Atlanta, Georgia based mobile technology agency dedicated to helping brands and marketing agencies interact with consumers, recently announced a partnership with Toyota Motor Sales. The deal will see MoZeus, whose other high-profile automotive clients include Mercedes-Benz, Kia, Honda and Harley-Davidson, managing all electronic data collection initiatives for Toyota, Lexus and Scion at consumer events such as auto shows, festivals and sports-sponsored events.

In turn, MoZeus will be providing Toyota with unlimited-access to it's SMART Activator application, a digital toolbox used to engage with consumers at such events, and will leverage the agency's photo and video marketing tools, instant win games and radio-frequency identification technology. It's already been confirmed that MoZeus will be providing their services for Toyota at hundreds of regional and national events throughout the United States and Canada, such as Bass Pro Shops Ride & Drives, Dew Tour, and Motor Sports events, including NASCAR, Motorcross, and NHRA.

Toyota FCV - “The Turning Point”

Charles Jones, chief operating officer and co-founder of MoZeus, a company that has worked with more than 400 brands across North America, Asia, Europe and Australia since its inception in 2010, is “Very excited to be selected as the enterprise data collection partner for Toyota.” He said they went through an extensive RFP process, which lasted over a year, and that to finally be handed the business after all that time is very humbling. He said MoZeus “ Believe there is an art to engaging consumers and capturing valuable, pertinent data for re-marketing purposes,” and that in the coming years, their goal is to “Standardise this art-form across the Toyota, Lexus and Scion brands." He adds that, whilst their first five years of business have been successful, “The opportunity to represent Toyota at such big events is exciting.” He believes the SMART Activator platform is the perfect fit for the Japanese automaker, and is “Very much looking forward to learning the 'Toyota Way' while meeting and exceeding their goals.”

It was announced yesterday that Toyota would be giving away its first hydrogen fuel-cell powered car in the US

In related news, it was also announced yesterday that Toyota would be giving away its first hydrogen car in the US. The first hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles will begin rolling out along the West Coast late next year, but before that, Toyota are ramping up publicity for the new motor by giving one away to a lucky Californian. Working in association with the Environmental Media Association, Toyota will be announcing the winner on the 18th of October at Warner Bros. Studios. This marks the companies proposed move towards fuel-cell vehicle adoption, which it first unveiled in a new TV spot last month (above). The car, christened the FCV, will be available first in Japan from April next year for around $69,000. Toyota says the fuel-cell vehicle will be able to go about 300 miles on a full tank of hydrogen and, aside from some water vapour, will not have any emissions.
