The 5TH Annual Lovie Awards Winners Announced

Published by

We are so thrilled to share The 5th Annual Lovie Awards Winners, representing the very best of the European Internet across Websites, Online Advertising, Internet Video, Social and of course Mobile & Apps.

With 400+ expert Academy members across Europe, nearly 1,500 works were judged and thousands of reviews were completed to cull the very best work. And with nearly 40,000 votes from the online public, this year’s Gold, Silver, Bronze and People’s Lovie Winners prove once again that Europe is a region of immense innovation and creativity when it comes to the Internet.

This year’s Special Achievement winners exemplify just what we mean. Lovie Emerging Entrepreneur Lily Cole will be honoured for her work with impossible.com, Lifetime Achievement Honouree Louis Pouzin will be celebrated for his CYCLADES network, a precursor to TCP/IP protocols that still holds today, Tom Fletcher will be recognised as a Special Achievement Honouree for passionate use of digital diplomacy as former British Ambassador to Lebanon, The Lovie Be Greater with Data Award goes to The European Space Agency in honour of the Rosetta Mission, and Internet Video Person of the Year David Sandberg will be honoured for his epic online viral film “Kung Fury.”

See them all in our Winners Gallery and make sure you’re subscribed for updates to get all the news, photos, and videos of what happens at the show on 12th November at The BFI in London.
