Flippy the robotic burger flipper takes first shift


A robot named Flippy is now flipping burgers in the kitchen of a California fast food restaurant called CaliBurger. Flippy uses thermal imaging, as well as 3D and camera vision to sense when to flip and when to take the burger off the grill. The robot has the ability to detect the temperature of a patty, size and how hot the surface of the grill is. To operate correctly, the robot needs a human to put raw patties on the grill and
