Ricky Neault appointed as director of Chapter

Published by

The Birmingham-based advertising agency Chapter, has recently announced that Ricky Neault has been appointed as a director of the young, award winning company. Neault will continue to head up one of Chapter’s multi-discipline teams, but will also take on some additional board level responsibilities. Neault joined the agency two years ago from Big Communications, a creative agency based in Leicester where he served as board director and head of account management. Previously he had worked at DLKW in London, and prior to his stint at DLKW, he had begun his career in advertising at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, also in London.

Mike Rose, managing director of Chapter, says that Neault earned the promotion because he is “Someone who absolutely embodies the Chapter ethos,” in that he works closely “With his team and clients to build strong relationships.” Rose goes on to say that Neault's appointment is “Part of a long-term plan” for the agency to “Attract the best people around.” He says that the “Very best of these, will have great opportunities ahead of them.”

Neault himself added that he feels it's genuinely “Staggering what Chapter has achieved over the last five years – particularly the calibre of clients the agency is working closely with.” He feels that the future looks very exciting indeed for the agency and is “Extremely proud to be part of it and working with Mike (Rose), Ian (Boulter, the agency's owner) and Martin (Heffeman, creative director)” to ensure they continue to create “A different kind of agency” for their team and their clients.

Prior to his promotion, Neault had been working as agency head since June 2012. At the time, he said he was “Excited by the Chapter model and approach,” and thought that they were “Building something unique and strong.” Rose said of his new (at the time) charge that he “Completed the Chapter team,” as he got the agency's “Approach, structure and philosophy,” and was the “Perfect fit” for what they were all about. Namely a “Smaller, tighter agency with a huge amount of experience and a true depth of understanding.” It would appear that in the ensuing 2 years, both men's optimism seems to have been well founded, as the agency has gone on to win Advertising Agency of the Year at the MI Awards in both 2013 and 2014.
