McCann HumanCare hires Auge Reichenberg as Executive Creative Director

It was announced on Tuesday this week that Auge Reichenberg, one of the most respected creative executives in healthcare communications, is to join McCann HumanCare, the consumer-focused health and wellness arm of McCann Health. She joins McCann from her post a executive creative director at Rosetta Digital Marketing and will serve in the same role at McCann, effective immediately. At Rosetta, Reichenberg led an 87 person strong creative team, who were based across three locations (including London) and made up of various copywriters, art directors, designers, graphic artists and medical editors. Prior to Rosetta but had held senior creative posts at Young & Rubicam, MRM//McCann and FCB.

Throughout her illustrious career, Reichenberg has worked on both consumer-based and professional products in almost all health and wellness categories. Brand launches and re-launches that she has been a significant part of include national campaigns for Metlife, Spiriva, Prolia, Enbrel, Auxilium, Colgate Plus, Prolia, Gilenya, Xiaflex and Allergan. She has also served as a judge at both the Cannes Lion and Effie awards, and her work has won prestigious awards from numerous industry bodies such as MM&M, DTC 360 and the Effies. She also won the Health Care Clios 2014, and has been recognised officially by the Art Director's Club.

McCann Health's chief creative officer, Jeremy Perrott looks forward to Reichenberg's “Contributions to such McCann clients as Merck, Takeda, Novartis, Boehringer-Ingelheim, and Eli Lilly." Perrott, who is also the inaugural President of the Pharmaceutical Jury at Cannes, also said that Reichenberg is “A Top ranked brand professional and digital innovator”, and that he was “Thrilled to welcome Auge to the health team.” Leo Tarkovsky, the president of McCann HealthCare North America, added that as well as being a huge talent, Reichenberg is “A terrific and high energy leader who has created award-winning platforms that span digital and brand platforms, and are also data-driven and consumer experience-focused.” He looks forward to partnering with her to “Meet McCann HumanCare's ambitious goals."

Reichenberg herself believes that now is a “Great time to be joining McCann HumanCare.” She feels that there is not only momentum, but a great client list. She's also excited about Tarkovsky's plans and has always wanted to work with Perrott, who she feels has been responsible for McCann Health becoming “The most creatively awarded health communications network in the world."
