Grey London brings us The Sun's Big Smile Giveaway

Grey London have worked with WPP's Team News agency to create a multi-channel campaign launching the Sun's Big Smile Giveaway. The campaign consists of promotions, giveaways, fun content, all to help the nation get through the 'depression' of January.

The campaign is a follow-up to the Get Involved positioning which Grey London directed the brand towards in 2012.

The ad was produced by Rattling Stick and directed by Andy McLeod, the former Fallon Executive Creative Director. The aim is to get people smiling despite the dreary January, to 'smile through the pain, the snotty noses and the rain'. The upbeat lyrics, delivered by 6 year old Ivy Pratt, will have a smile on your face in no time.

 


 

The campaign incorporates the return of holidays from £9.50 in January and will come to a close with the Sun's Alton Towers ticket promotion in March.
