Eventbrite and 99designs offer design support to event organisers

Published by

Eventbrite and 99designs have joined forces, announcing an integration that will seamlessly connect graphic designers with event organisers, in order to provide them with access to professional, unique banner designs for their event pages. The integration will be handled through 'Swiftly', 99designs' bespoke service, with Eventbrite organisers able to get small, quick and simple design jobs done with no fuss. Once the event page has been created on Eventbrite, they can point their browsers towards Swiftly's Eventbrite page, where they will be able to describe what kind of banner design they are looking for. The job will then be assigned to a designer, who will create a bespoke design within an hour for a one-off fee of $19 (£11.27 at the time of writing). This artwork will then be uploaded automatically to the event page, giving them a cheap, effective and quick bespoke design that's been custom made to match the event organisers' unique design descriptions.

This partnership drastically simplifies the marketing process for event organisers, who would ordinarily waste hours searching for a designer, providing specifications, downloading, optimising and re-uploading the file. Because everything is handled behind the scenes and in the space of just an hour, event organisers need only submit a request, then select the design that they believe most accurately reflects their idea.

Dylan Serota, the head of platform partnerships at Eventbrite, believes that "Eye-catching graphic design can attract people to your event page, but it can be hard to know where to turn for artistic help," and says that through their “Integration with 99designs, Eventbrite event organisers can tap into the well of talented Swiftly designers to help them create a striking event page." Patrick Llewellyn, the president and CEO of 99designs, agrees that “Enabling organisers to get custom-designed event banners through Swiftly is the perfect solution for people seeking to stand out from the crowd and make their event a success." He says his company, which is the world's largest graphic design marketplace, with more than 310,000 designers from 192 countries around the world, is thrilled to extend their services and share their “Talented designer community with Eventbrite.”

Eventbrite and 99designs seem like a natural fit, considering both are leaders in their individual fields. Eventbrite has sold over 200 million tickets and registrations worldwide, with over $1 billion processed just last year in gross ticket sales across 190 countries. 99Designs, meanwhile, is the site that first pioneered the idea of crowdsourced design contests, with businesses receiving a wide variety of design concepts and getting to choose their favourite. The integrated service is available now. For more information, visit the Eventbrite App Page or http://www.swiftly.com/eventbrite.
