8 designers on their Oscar movie poster remakes

Ahead of Sunday's Oscars ceremony, eight in-house designers at Shutterstock have given this year's Best Picture nominees the pop art treatment using content from the creative platform.

Shutterstock runs its Oscar Pop! poster series every February and below, the artists behind the remakes offer insight on their reworked designs for 2019.

 

1. Black Panther by Jac Castillo

“Based on a comic book, Black Panther follows T’Challa as he takes the throne of Wakanda after the death of his father," says Castillo.
