Creativepool heads to Cannes Lions 2017

As the annual pilgrimage to the French Riviera draws closer, Creativepool is excited to announce the full list of events taking place in Cannes for the network. 

All week keep your eyes turned to the Magazine for the latest coverage of events, speaking sessions, and exclusive interviews with key people attending the festival this year. 

We start the week on Wednesday, 21st of June at 11:00am, with a Creative Debate, hosted in partnership with Shutterstock on their yacht, centred around the topic "Hyper-reality: Risks and Rewards of Surreal Visuals in Advertising". Terrance Morash, Creative Director at Shutterstock, Keiichi Matsuda, and other experts in the field will be exploring the topic they presented on Tuesday on the stage of the Palais. 


Following the debate, Creativepool, in partnership with Saddington Baynes, will be hosting an intimate lunch for a group of our 2017 Top 100 Influencers at the Carlton Beach. Bringing together global CEO's and CCO's from the biggest agencies from China to Brazil, the team is looking forward to the conversations sparked in Cannes.


To round off the week, an exclusive evening at Hotel Le Canberra on Thursday 22nd June, co-hosted by Greenlight and 90 Seconds.

Against the backdrop of a sunset soiree, the evening will be an ideal chance to champion the force of creativity, while networking and mingling with leading industry influencers in a relaxed, ambient atmosphere. The sun-kissed terrace of Le Canberra, a champagne reception and smooth, summer beats by MassiveMusic await guests.
