Amaze bolster their ranks with two senior appointments to digital commerce division

Manchester-based digital marketing and technology consultancy, Amaze, has announced the appointment of two senior digital commerce specialists to help boost that area of its business. Jodie Stapleton joins as head of commerce and Kami Boyer Kris as commerce business director. As well as further establishing the company's digital commerce practicce, both hires (who will be working closely with chief technology officer, Matt Clarke) will oversee the delivery of global commerce solutions for international clients.

Stapleton has spent over 14 years in the digital sector, specialising in retail, and is focused on bringing life to outstanding, integrated shopping experiences for brands and consumers. She joins Amaze from Trendd Limited, where she worked as a multichannel commerce consultant, but has also served time at a number of retail brands (both high street and luxury) such as Goldsmiths, Vodafone and Mulberry. Kris meanwhile joins the company from ReD (Retail Decisions), where she worked as director of international partnerships and alliances. She is a commercially minded business development specialist with over 10 years of experience in international commerce, and has worked in senior positions all over the globe, in China, Australia and the US. Kris will also serve as vice president of sales at Loop Integration, a new joint venture from Amaze based in Chicago, which specialises in Hybris software solutions.

Clarke believes that with Stapleton and Kris on board, Amaze now have “All the skills under one roof to deliver a complete end-to-end solution,” and the ability to help their clients “Take their commerce capabilities to the next level. He says that the “Next generation of commerce” is “No longer purely about fulfilling the online transaction,” and is instead about addressing “Every touchpoint, from warehouse and fulfilment through to data readiness and digital optimisation.”

Amaze CEO, Natalie Gross shares here colleagues views, and believes that having Stapleton and Kris on board will further deepen the company's capability to help their clients “Evolve their businesses through new service design, as well as the delivery of joined-up customer experiences.” She says that the company has spent the last two years increasing the depth of their digital commerce. The expansion of their digital commerce division has always been on the cards, because she feels it is imperative for Amaze to be able to provide their customers with “A seamless digital capability, from communications to design and build , through to full commerce solution design and delivery.”
