DDB Worldwide has announced the appointment of three executive creative directors at DDB New York. After a strong year of new business growth in 2015, including Pure Leaf, Qualcomm and Huawei, the agency is increasing its creative firepower by elevating Hannah Fishman from Group Creative Director to Executive Creative Director, and also adding Cam Hoelter and Cheryl Horsfall to the creative leadership team as ECDs. All three will report to DDB New York’s Chief Creative Officer, Icaro Doria. Fishman joined DDB New York one year ago in January of 2015. She has served as Global Group Creative Director on Johnson & Johnson beauty brands like Clean&Clear. Most recently, she led Clean&Clear's #SelfAcceptanceSpeech campaign for MTV’s Video Music Awards. The Australian-born Hoelter joins the New York team from DDB Sydney where he was the multi-award winning Deputy ECD working on many of DDB Sydney’s largest clients including McDonald’s and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. During this time, Hoelter was instrumental in winning eight Cannes Lions, three of which were gold. After ten years at Digitas Health, Horsfall joins DDB New York to lead Merck. Her experience covers a wide breadth of consumer markets and clients, including IBM, The New York Times, Chantix, Eliquis and Sculptra Aesthetic.

In the first of three major new hiring stories for the global JWT network this week, J. Walter Thompson Kuala Lumpur is deepening its bench of experienced leaders, hiring Raymond Khor as General Manager, Christopher Koh as Digital Business Director and Deric Cheong as Finance Director. Khor takes on the newly-created role of General Manager. He comes with more than 15 years’ advertising and marketing experience, with stints at Ogilvy & Mather, Grey and Mindshare. He will lead key client accounts such as Shell and oversee training and development of account management teams. Koh, meanwhile, is a seasoned digital entrepreneur. In 2002, he co-founded IF/Interactive, a full-service digital agency later acquired by Dentsu Aegis Network and rebranded Isobar Malaysia. He takes over from Nixon Lee, who is leaving to take a sabbatical and spend time with family. Finally, Cheong brings 18 years of finance experience in local and multinational businesses ranging from Ernst & Young to Xango and MindValley. He replaces Michael Wong, who is retiring but will continue to work for the company as its operations consultant.

J. Walter Thompson Perth has announced the appointment of Dean Hunt to the position of Creative Director. With nearly two decades of big agency experience under his belt, Hunt was most recently Founding Creative Director of VCCP Sydney, where he was instrumental in taking the agency from start up to more than 20 staff with a client list including ING Direct Bank and Fitness First. Originally from the UK, Hunt started out at MMHL in London before moving to Sydney. His work has been recognised at Cannes, AWARD, ADMA and IPA Effectiveness. Hunt commences as Creative Director on February 29, replacing Dav Tabeshfar, who departs to establish his own consultancy business.

Finally, J. Walter Thompson has announced the appointment of Diego Livachoff as Creative VP for the network's Peruvian office. Livachoff began his professional career in 1995. He worked with some of the most prominent advertising agencies in Argentina such as Y&R, Grey, J. Walter Thompson and Publicis. He has been working as Creative Director for McCann LATAM´s regional hub since 2013.

gyro has appointed krow’s former marketing chief, Fran Caplan, to the newly created role of Marketing Director in charge of gyro London’s growth and reputation. She spent the last three years as marketing director at krow, during which time the agency experienced a successful period of growth with the notable addition of Virgin Trains West & East Coast joining its client list. Previously she was at St Luke’s, Brothers & Sisters and McCann London as a new business consultant. She starts at gyro with immediate effect, joining the London management trio of Managing Director Kate Howe, Executive Creative Director David Harris and Head of Strategy and Media Jake Dyer.

As part of an ongoing effort for the The Dentsu Aegis Network to enhance its creative competence in the German market and develop its integrated range of brand commerce-related services, experienced agency leaders Alexander Wipf and Christoph Riebling will be assuming Managing Director roles in the management of Isobar Germany from 1 March 2016. The new executive team comes from Leo Burnett, where they were responsible for the strategic reorientation of the agency and were instrumental in its substantive turnaround. In Düsseldorf they will be joining Daniel Pannrucker, who has been on board as Interim Managing Director since November 2015.

Beattie McGuinness Bungay (BMB) has boosted its creative offering by hiring Louise Sloper to the new role of Head of Art. Sloper, who was previously Head of Art & Design at CHI & Partners, will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and craft goes into every aspect of the agency’s visual output, across print ads, idents, long-form and short-form video. She reports into BMB Executive Creative Director Matt Waller and will work across all clients. Sloper joined CHI & Partners as Head of Design in 2014 and during her time there she worked on rebrands for clients including Argos, British Gas, and TalkTalk. Prior to that, she held the same position at BETC London as part of the agency’s founding team, where she worked on the Bacardi global rebrand and the award-winning Cockburn’s “Pronounce Responsibly” campaign. She has also worked at BBH, JWT and M&C Saatchi.

Saatchi & Saatchi London has promoted Marie Deery to the Head of Account Management. Deery will oversee the Account Management department, reporting into Chief Operating Officer, Katrien De Bauw and replaces Will Nicholls who left at the end of last year to return to BBH. Marie Deery joined Saatchi & Saatchi in February 2015 as a business leader working on the HomeAway and Marie Curie accounts. She started her career in advertising at Inferno before moving to St Lukes and Fallon in 2007. Prior to her time at Saatchi & Saatchi, Deery worked at Nike working both on their #makeitcount campaign during the London Olympics and in Ethiopia on the Nike Foundation’s Girl Effect campaign, launching Ethiopia’s first youth culture brand, Yegna.

The founder of Grey London’s content offering has been appointed Content Strategy Director at Mother London. A former Guardian columnist and award-winning Channel 4 comedy producer, Neil Boorman built Grey’s content department from scratch. The department played a key role in Grey’s 2015 Cannes Lion wins for Volvo Life Paint and Lucozade Conditions Zone. He also oversaw integrated strategy and production for Times Unquiet Film Series and GSK corporate. Boorman’s new role will focus on baking cultural impact into the creation, execution and delivery of Mother’s ideas, while also inspiring new and current business.
