72andSunny Amsterdam made another exciting announcement this week, appointing Stuart Harkness as its new Executive Creative Director, partnering with Carlo Cavallone. Formerly a Creative Director at Wieden + Kennedy London and Portland, working with brands such as Nike, Honda, Powerade and Facebook; producing Write The Future, St. Wayne and multiple pieces within Honda’s Power of Dreams campaign. Bolstering the existing management team with Nic Owen, Stephanie Feeney and Carlo Cavallone, Stuart will help lead the vision for 72andSunny Amsterdam - driving its commitment to help brands make a positive impact in culture. Stuart will work across the company’s entire portfolio of brands including adidas, Axe, Carlsberg, Google, Samsung and Smirnoff.

RKCR/Y&R

RKCR/Y&R has signed up youth activist Chris Preddie OBE to work alongside the agency’s planning team. Preddie set up the company Make Dreams Reality (MDR) in order to mentor disadvantaged young people and help them avoid taking the wrong paths in life. In 2012 his work with young people was recognised with an OBE – he is the youngest person to receive the honour. At RKCR/Y&R he will not be a staff member but will act as a consultant working on client projects and agency research projects, such as its Agency Youth Insights project, which will be of benefit to existing and new clients.

AnalogFolk

Independent creative agency AnalogFolk has appointed former Droga5 head of design Michael Kleinman and UX specialist Robert St Clair to newly created roles. Kleinman has been hired as its first design director while St Clair takes the new position of experience design director. 

Prior to joining AnalogFolk, Kleinman was head of design at Droga5 Sydney and digital design director at M&C Saatchi/Make. He has also worked for Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Tribal DDB, Razorfish, JWT and has won Cannes Gold and Silver Lions for design. He regularly judges the Webbys which recognises international excellence on the internet, and other design and creative awards. 

St Clair has over 15 years experience creating digital interactive experiences, working extensively with major cultural institutions in addition to key agency roles including ICD at Spinifex Group, lead interaction designer at Frost, and numerous UX consultancy roles including R/GA, M&C Saatchi and Wunderman.

Marianne Stefanowicz has joined Droga5 as Global Head of Communications, a new role for the agency. As a member of the senior management team, Stefanowicz will develop and lead all communications strategies and activities for their New York, London and Sydney offices. Stefanowicz brings to Droga5 more than 15 years of communications, marketing and leadership experience. Prior to joining Droga5, she spent the last eight years at TBWA\Worldwide, where she also served as Global Head of Communications. In addition to overseeing Droga5’s global corporate communications functions, Stefanowicz will support clients and their respective communication partners, as well as capitalise on opportunities with agency partner, WME|IMG.

OgilvyOne Singapore has announced the appointment of Jason Hill as head of consulting and data analytics. 

Hill spent the last eight years as Head of Planning at OgilvyOne in Sydney, Australia where he led strategic planning across the business and specialised in data-led communications strategies, CRM and value proposition development. 
Prior to O&M, Hill was planning director at Rapier UK and also worked at Prudential Assurance as a Market Analyst.

Global agency We Are Social has appointed advertising and media veteran Suzie Shaw as managing director for Australia. Shaw takes the role following a successful 14-year international career with some of the UK’s leading creative and integrated agencies, including TBWA and Engine. Most recently she held the position CEO of Sydney based agency Host, prior to which she was managing director.
 Shaw is a strong strategic and creative thinker with extensive comms and marketing experience across a broad range of industry categories including financial services, travel and tourism, FMCG and more. 

She was a finalist in B&T Mad Week 'Women in Media' Awards, was named one of The Australian's top 50 Women in Media, has been featured in Adnews' 40 under 40, and Adnews' 'Women of Influence', and also sits on The Communications Council board.

DDB EMEA has named Ben Priest as Chair of the regional Creative Council, effective immediately. This post will be undertaken in addition to his current role as Founder and Chief Creative Officer at adam&eveDDB. The appointment follows an exceptional year for adam&eveDDB, which won 13 Agency of the Year titles, including awards from Advertising Age, British Arrows, Campaign, Cannes Lions, CLIO (top UK agency), Epica, Eurobest, LIA, Marketing Week, More About Advertising, Shots and The Drum. In addition, the agency took home the IPA Effectiveness Grand Prix for its work on Fosters.

Danny Mok, CEO of Leo Burnett China has announced the appointment of Victor Manggunio as chief creative officer. This appointment marks a return to Leo Burnett for Manggunio, who previously spent ten years at the network’s Hong Kong office. 

In his new role, Manggunio will be based out of Shanghai and has been tasked with the creative leadership of Leo Burnett offices in China across Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.

 Speaking about Manggunio’s appointment, Mok said, “One of my top priorities since coming on board has been focused on building a strong management team for Leo Burnett China. Victor’s appointment completes the puzzle for our ‘China Leadership Team’, setting a strong foundation for our ambition to transform Leo Burnett into a leading creative force in China that delivers value for our clients’ businesses.”
