SegPay extends its contract with Creaxion for five more years

Published by

The Atlanta-based Creaxion, one of North America's leading marketing firms, announced recently that it had signed up SegPay for five more years; the longest, and perhaps most significant client contract in the agency's 16 year history. SegPay is one of the world's leading online payment services, and has decided to extend its contract with Creaxion, which it has held since 2011, through to 2019. Specific financial terms of the agreement have yet to be released at the time of writing. Over its 16 year history, Creaxion has worked for some of the best known brands in the world including AT&T, Arby's, The Coca-Cola Company, Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), Porsche, Pizza Hut and KFC.

Cathy Beardsley, SegPay's CEO, believes that "Creaxion has helped transform” their company and their business in just 2 years. She adds that Creaxion has helped SegPay grow their business by “ 40% since January 2012,” by implementing a “New brand identity,” as well as “Strategic marketing guidance.” She says their return investment with Creaxion “Has been incredible." Creaxion's CEO, Mark Pettit, is equally pleased with the contract extension, calling SegPay “The ideal client,” and commends Beardsley and her team for always being receptive to their ideas and guidance. He says their relationship is one “Built on trust that is helping both companies grow."

The Creaxion Team

Services Creaxion provides to SegPay include high-level strategic business guidance, creative design, advertising planning and placement, digital marketing, media relations and sponsorship development and activation. They are also working together to expand SegPay globally, as it is currently lagging far behind its closest rival, Paypal, in the global marketplace. SegPay has been in operation since 2005, offering online merchants a state-of-the-art billing platform, which provides real time payment processing. What sets SegPay apart from its competitors is the company's proprietary 'Fraud Mitigation System', which provides clients with unmatched customer support.

Though SegPay lacks the brand recognition of some of its rivals, they managed to increase their client base by 20% last year, extending its reach through mobile payments and international markets. Beardsley said the company “Had a remarkable year filled with growth and enhanced services," and that they are “Making sure (they) don't lose sight of (their) customers by providing customised services and innovative fraud protections that are defining excellence in the industry." With Creaxion's help, over the next 12 months, SegPay will “Continue to focus on improving its systems to create a seamless payment experience for both the webmaster and the customer.”
