McDonald's interrupts ITV Movies with McDelivery orders

McDonald's has launched a new set of idents that will play during the intervals of ITV Movies that see scenes from different film genres interrupted to promote its McDelivery service.

Horror, martial arts, western, sci-fi, fantasy and high school rom-com are all spoofed in the series, which sees a McDelivery girl arrive on set with the actors' order.

The campaign was created by Publicis agency Leo Burnett to plug Uber Eats', the food delivery service that delivers for McDonald's, sponsorship of late-night movie nights on ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4.

The campaign is part of a sponsorship deal between ITV and McDelivery powered by Uber Eats, for the broadcaster’s post 9pm digital network film package secured by OMD UK.

The partnership saw eight 10-second spots created and will air during over 1,200 films for the next two years.
