The traits that won over judges this year were adaptability and reinvention, with established agencies that had the confidence to tear up conventional organisational structures to embrace change picking up awards across the board. Besides McCann, BBDO and JWT Taipei both exhibited similar efforts to redefine and transform their roles, and were rewarded accordingly, claiming China Creative Agency of the Year and Taiwan Creative Agency of the year respectively. OMD, meanwhile, claimed Media Agency of the Year in Hong Kong as well as a Bronze in mainland China (where Mindshare took Gold), whilst ZenithOptimedia took top honours in Taiwan. Isobar, meanwhile, swept the digital awards, claiming Gold in all three territories!
