Publicis Healthcare acquire Tardis Medical

Publicis Healthcare recently acquired Tardis Medical; a highly respected clinical and medical affairs outsourcing organisation and consultancy business. The agency will be aligned with Publicis Touchpoint Solutions, part of PHCG, Inc; a leading provider of healthcare sales, service, and clinical teams. The Tardis Medical acquisition will complement and strengthen Touchpoint's clinical capabilities. Tardis Medical has a strong global presence with European offices in the UK, Austria, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and operates in LATAM and APAC. The founders of Tardis Medical (Andrew Bruce, Ian Bancroft, and Suzanna Lawrence) will continue to lead the business as General Managers reporting directly to Michelle Keefe.

Three Publicis Healthcare leaders named to the PharmaVOICE 100

Publicis Healthcare recently announced that three of its network leaders have been named to the 2015 PharmaVOICE 100; an annual list of the most inspiring leaders in healthcare and life sciences. Named to the PharmaVOICE 100 for their successes in leadership and entrepreneurship were: Michelle Keefe, President, Publicis Touchpoint Solutions, in the Commanders and Chiefs category; Matt McNally, President, Publicis Health Media, in the Commanders and Chiefs category; Bill Drummy, Founder and CEO, Heartbeat Ideas and Heartbeat West, in the Entrepreneurs category. The PharmaVOICE 100 are selected through submitted written work that describes how they inspired and affected positive changes within their companies, communities, and the industry at large. Community and philanthropic activities are also considered in the selection process.

Publicis Healthcare launches in Singapore

Publicis Singapore launched its global healthcare brand in Singapore this week, and named Sharon Tan as the general manager of the unit. Publicis Healthcare Singapore is supported by the Publicis Healthcare Communications Group, the world’s largest healthcare agency network with 70 offices in 10 countries. Tan has 14 years experience in integrated and healthcare communications and has worked on both agency and client sides. She previously helped launch TBWA’s healthcare practice which worked with clients including GSK, Sandoz, Singapore Eye Research Institute and Johnson & Johnson. She is currently regional business director at Publicis Singapore where she has led network clients such as L’Oreal, AXA insurance and French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi. Prior to Publicis, Tan worked for SOHO China setting up and leading its branding department.

The CEO of Publicis Singapore, Lou DelaPena, said; “Singapore is heading towards being a world-class healthcare hub in terms of R&D and innovation. The time is right for Publicis to lead the change in the healthcare communications space and to continue to partner our clients in the transformation of their marketing. I can think of no better person than Sharon Tan to lead the business.” Tan added: “My focus is to propel higher levels of consumer engagement and business outcomes for our clients through digital and marketing innovation. To which, we will collectively create meaningful solutions that can radically change the way people engage on healthcare matters.” Publicis Healthcare Singapore opened its doors earlier this week.
