Now in its 7th year, the CANNT Festival will be taking place in London and Seattle between the 20th and 24th of June, to inspire, showcase and reward the best creative talent.
As in previous years, the timing of CANNT corresponds with the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity
. And offers those unable or unwilling to attend the French Riveria a chance to meet like-minded people, get inspired and indulge in some creative fun. It’s a ‘thank you’ to the ever-increasing number of individuals involved in today’s creative gems – from production houses, designers and creative teams to directors and innovation wizards.
In an exciting development for the festival, BIMA
Ambassador and Possible
MD Gareth Jones is bringing Cannt to Seattle and the West Coast of America. “We’re incredibly excited to be launching the already epic Cannt festival in the US. It’s a perfect opportunity to give another unique twist to the Cannes spirit of creativity and encourage those that don’t want to travel thousands of miles to get together in Seattle, one of the world’s most innovative and inspirational cities, to celebrate all the things that make our industry great.”
This year, Cannt’s theme is celebrating diversity and togetherness; recognising recent industry efforts to ensure the collaborative teams of the future are gender, economic and ethnically diverse to help deliver the very best creative ideas.
The festival features a series of entertaining and educational events hosted by agencies, production partners and content platforms. Key initiatives include Cannt Be Replaced by the Young Creative Council
, who are offering the best Creative Interns to cover agencies that have shipped their creative stars out to Cannes for the week. Cannt Speed Critique, by Havas Helia
and Creative, Equals a speed-date style folio critique for aspiring creative from diverse backgrounds. And Cannt Mum’s Cannes by Poke an experiment where parents of digital creative directors review the Cannes Cyber Lions

Co-founder and Isobar's
CCO Simon Gill mentioned, “I’m blown away by the love and commitment people show for CANNT, and how inclusive they want to be in collaborating and sharing with others to celebrate creativity.”
Co-founder and Mr. President's
Creative Partner, Laura Jordan-Bambach said, “Bringing some of the stimulation, enjoyment and rosé of Cannes to the important teams of creatives, designers, technologists, UXers, producers and others that are left behind in London over Lions week. It’s a chance to let your hair down, and learn a thing or two."
We’re still looking out for more events to make CANNT 2016 the biggest and best CANNT ever. If you’d like to sponsor the festival, or put on event yourself, or simply find out more, email firstname.lastname@example.org
