Leo Burnett was the most awarded agency network earlier this week at the 51st annual International ANDY Awards. In addition to the sixth consecutive Network of the Year win, Leo Burnett London received the prestigious Richard T. O'Reilly Award for Outstanding Public Service for its “Suffocation” campaign for the Karma Nirvana charity. “Suffocation” also won three gold ANDYs in the Not for Profit/Public Service division in the Direct Response, Magazine and Promotional Items categories. “Like A Girl” for Procter & Gamble's Always, created by Leo Burnett's Chicago, Toronto and London offices, also secured three gold awards in the Personal Products division in the Branded Content, Web Film and Social Marketing categories.

The Game Marketing Awards, the first and only U.S. program that honours the finest work created by marketing and creative professionals in the video game community, has announced the winners for its 10th annual awards celebrating best practices in marketing, promotion and advertising for the interactive game and entertainment community. Presented by GMS sponsor, visual identity and motion graphics partner, Ayzenberg, GMA winners include Ubisoft, 2K, Ant Farm, Heat, AKQA, Microsoft Xbox, Activision and Edelman. GMA winners were selected by a jury of world-class interactive entertainment marketing leaders, with honourees announced at a special ceremony immediately following the 2015 Game Marketing Summit , which took place on Wednesday April 22 in San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts.

AHAA: The Voice of Hispanic Marketing

AHAA: The Voice of Hispanic Marketing announced today that Toyota Motor Sales USA was selected as the 2015 winner of the AHAA Marketer of the Year Award. Toyota is one of the top auto spenders against Hispanic with Hispanic buyers accounting for 16% of Toyota's 2014 sales. In December 2013, it launched the Total Toyota or T2 marketing model, a true Total Market approach by AHAA standards where the brand's general market, Hispanic, African-American and Asian-American agencies cohesively work together across all marketing strategies and executions. Luis Rosero, director of Toyota's Hispanic Business Strategy Group (HBSG), will accept this award during the Delegate Luncheon at the 2015 AHAA Annual Conference on Wednesday, April 29 at the Eden Roc Miami Beach.

Ad to Action Awards

Today at the LSA 15 Conference in Los Angeles, the Local Search Association (LSA) announced the winners of the second annual Ad to Action Awards competition. LSA received 91 entries across 10 categories and the winners were revealed on the main stage at the event. The competition focused on celebrating the most innovative local marketing products or solutions that facilitate consumer actions like calls, clicks, store visits, etc. The winners demonstrated the greatest potential for driving local consumer engagement and best addressed current market needs. Entries were evaluated on ability to facilitate consumer actions (calls, clicks, store visits, etc.), innovation, ROI potential, ease of implementation and more. Scores were calculated on a 10-point scale.

The Local Search Association (LSA) has announced the winners of the second annual Ad to Action Awards competition

The judging panel (made up of 18 companies including Twitter, Foursquare, Yahoo, MapQuest, xAd and more) evaluated these products and solutions. Each judge reviewed a subset of entries and no judge reviewed any entries where there was a potential conflict of interest. “This year's panel of judges was a veritable who's who of local digital marketing,” said Greg Sterling, VP of Strategy & Insights for the LSA. “We also saw an extremely competitive field of entrants; almost without exception they were very impressive companies.” Click HERE for a complete list of winners.
