It's the start of November, which means it's time to put the kettle on, sit back and watch the barrage of Christmas ads already launched by brands this year.

Here's Creativepool's pick the best ads so far with credit to the agencies and production houses behind the work...

Aldi: The Amazing Show

Aldi's Christmas ad sees the return of Kevin the Carrot along with a whole host of animated food characters following on from the Wicked Parsnip last year.

The Amazing Aldi Christmas Show introduces the Flying Tra-peas and a guest appearance from bad guy Russell Sprout while Robbie Williams' Let Me Entertain You is reworked for the special occasion. The work was created by McCann Manchester and Stink.

Amazon: Everybody Needs Somebody

Amazon brings a singalong and puts smiles on faces in its Christmas contribution in 2019 as its branded boxes join the chorus of classic hit Everybody Needs Somebody to Love.

The ad, from Lucky Generals and Smuggler, sees people travelling and spending time with loved ones while the Amazon boxes join in each scene to bring the festive spirit.

Argos: The Book of Dreams

Guessing what gifts to buy loved ones is always hard work, and Cineworld reflects the struggle by putting a cinematic twist on the game of Charades in 2019.

Creative agency TWELVE developed the campaign with production company Linney to produce a cinema-quality ad that promotes the larger-than-life gift of cinema while also previewing upcoming films such as Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Frozen 2.

Dogs Trust: A Dog's for Life, Not Just for Christmas

FedEx: Gift Box

FedEx delivers millions of packages around the world every day. But the company also claims to deliver imagination in its latest campaign to coincide with Christmas.

BBDO New York and Biscuit Filmworks do the honours as a cardboard box becomes the best gift a child could receive at this time of year.

Iceland Foods: #MagicofFrozen

Iceland makes the connection between its frozen food range and Disney's upcoming Frozen 2 film, which hits cinemas on 22 November.

It incorporates charades, the go-to festive game for families, to tell the story and promotes the perfect Christmas dinner.

Lidl prides itself on being Big on a Christmas you can believe in. That means everything from naughty treats to the joys of giving and getting more for your money.
