Woods takes a Bite!

Rory Woods, a former art director at Saatchi & Saatchi, recently joined the Bite agency as the leader of its new Content Lab. The lab will be a place for creatives to experiment with storytelling in advertising, and find new and creative ways for brands to reach their audiences. It combines editorial specialists with creative, design, video and planning experts, providing a complete brand and content marketing offering. Woods was brought on board due to his background in multi-channel content creation at both M&C Saatchi and Saatchi & Saatchi, where he worked on campaigns for Adidas, M&S and Samsung amongst others. Bite's current client list includes Amazon, Hasbro, Sage, GoDaddy and 4Music.

Woods will not be the only fresh face to take a bite out of the content lab either. He'll be joined by digital project manager Nick Taylor, who joins Bite from Blueprint Partners, where he managed work for Volkswagen, Blackberry and Porsche. Caterina Bianchini will also be joining the team as a designer from Dearman, where she helped redesign the company website and its internal rebranding campaign. Kath Easthope, managing director at Bite, said they spent “six months hunting for the very best talent to both lead and be part of the Content Lab,” because the lab is such a major investment for them. She feels Woods will be “An inspirational leader” for the team, as he “Thinks about content and storytelling in a brilliantly unique way and has bags of new and inventive ideas.” Woods, meanwhile, is “Fired-up to create rich, visual, multi-channel brand stories that cut through the content pollution.”
