Zebra celebrate anniversary with central London migration

Published by

Global content production and adaptation company Zebra Worldwide is marking its 10 year anniversary by launching a content focused consulting & technology offer from new offices in W1. Founded by Luke Hammersley and Nic Franklin in 2005, Zebra Worldwide has continued to evolve and expand its offer, with new facilities in W1 and new service offers. Zebra has developed a long way from the production and post-production company they founded 10 years ago, and now, it is evolving to meet another big challenge; to help marketers make sense of content marketing and maximise their production investment through shared asset use and offering agile offshore resourcing models. Zebra is also able to ensure clients fulfil their programmatic media buy by offering automation tools and fast turn production solutions.

Luke Hammersley explains: “We started out as a production and post-production company when de-coupling was gaining momentum and from the start we knew to compete and grow we had to be fast, smart and very agile. We embraced digital workflows whilst others used tapes, we broke down account management structures to put clients in direct touch with those producing work and we used latest technology to drive down costs. We also hired the smartest young talent we could find and tapped into the growing versioning and adaptation sector”.

Coming from 10 years in Management Consulting with EY & Capgemini, Hammersley is comfortable with the idea of delivering transformation in big businesses. Having built an all channel production company that delivers for a host of international brands and agencies - including a delivery partnership with adam&eveDDB (Zebra adapts TV campaigns for international accounts through their campaign implementation arm, Gutenberg Networks) they have now launched a consulting and technology service line to support brands in the development of content strategies, organisation & process design, asset management and data analytics.

Zebra’s consultant teams include ex-heads of agencies, former marketing directors, producers, media specialists, and career management consultants

Hammersley adds: “We are innovating again to support brands and their agencies with a mix of consulting and technology services that will help organisations create consistent customer experiences and drive efficiency in the creation / syndication of content. Most brands recognise the need to use content to educate, entertain and inspire customers, but many are not in shape to coordinate this in a planned, measured and therefore effective way. It’s about amplifying the value agencies bring by aligning with the creative strategy and connecting across the agency roster to ensure all stakeholders’ needs are factored in. This reduces duplication of effort, means assets can be controlled and shared more effectively and therefore creates consistency of customer experience.”

Zebra’s consultant teams include ex-heads of agencies, former marketing directors, producers, media specialists, and career management consultants. These teams are complemented by partnerships with major consulting firms and technology partners. Importantly for Zebra, they will not be diverting away from their core business of creating and adapting content in print, digital and moving image. Stripey Horse, the group’s production company, is also experiencing great success with a growing roster of TVC directors and recent long form broadcast commissions from the BBC & Channel 4. Collectively, across all its offers, Zebra Worldwide provides a range of services, which can ensure all elements of production and content run smoothly, effectively and within ever squeezed budgets. Zebra will be celebrating its move to W1 with a reception in January.
