Not everyone is perfectly flawless, and neither is every piece of work. Even if the designer, artist, or photographer is a genius, their work will often contain a few sore spots. Indeed, even the supermodels on Instagram and on the billboards we see on the way to work have their flaws. Retouchers work to polish those spots and they are uniquely talented in that regard.

With that in mind, here’s a selection of who we feel represent some of the most exciting and intriguing retouchers on Creativepool.

Kevin describes himself as a “dad of 2, jack of all trades, master of none, but someone that loves trying to break it himself!” A man of few words, he lets his work do the talking for him.

Hope Veinard has been a retoucher since 2012. Based in Georgia, she creates her own photo projects, where she is the author of ideas and the director of the project. As a retoucher, she specialises in Still Life, Collage, Fashion, Beauty Portraits, Colour Grading, other photo manipulation. She’s worked in a team for brands like Bobbi Brown, Origins, Glow Recipe, GAP, Alexander Wang and many more. She really likes to embody her ideas and is very attentive to details during retouching. Solving complex problems in retouching is her calling and her passion.

Paul Hill

A hi-end freelance creative retoucher, Paul Hill has worked for everyone from Nike and Adidas to Mercedes and Colgate. His eclectic style leans heavily on accurately capturing the motion and excitement of the sporting world.

Tim Bennett

A senior retoucher with 20+ years’ experience at the top level of the industry. Tim has worked with the world's leading photographers, agencies, galleries, magazines, and brands to produce high-end imagery for commercial sale, advertising, publication, and exhibitions. He has a particular focus on retouching and grading for fine art, but his retouching experience and capabilities encompass all types. He also has strong ecommerce experience through being the Senior Retoucher at Pro:Direct Sport. Here he oversaw the entire technical development of the £100m retailer's retouching workflow from the ground up, including developing custom software to automate their Photoshop processes and increase productivity twofold.

Viki has been working as a self-employer retoucher since 2013, therefore she always follows the latest trends and adapts her retouching services to suit. She specialises in beauty portrait photos, fashion retouching, maternity, child, family shoots, photo manipulation and compositing.

Kateryna Lebedynska is a high-end retoucher with 8+ years of professional photo editing experience (ranging from basic editing to high-end retouching & complex photo manipulations) based in Orlando, FL. She specialises in non-destructive techniques in fashion editorial, beauty & commercial photography. Jordan Hayes

A photographer and retoucher based in Northern Ireland. Since graduating in 2012 from the University of Ulster with a BA HONS in Photography, Jordan went on to work internationally retouching for various clients specialising in beauty, portraiture and fashion.

A retoucher that specialises in creative images, Ricardo Moreira has spent over 15 years in various agencies. In 2012, he founded Moreira Studio in Caruaru in Brazil. In these last ten years, he has already worked with clients such as Adidas, Ford, Burger King, Getty Images, Hyundai, Dell, Mazda and UN among others and in agencies in various parts of the world.

Sasa Mihajlovic

Sasa has been lucky to walk in many different creative shoes throughout his carreer, from being a 3D modeler to a photographer and retoucher. As a highly driven and curious individual, he has learned about web design, SEO, and digital marketing. It is easier to list the things that he hasn’t learned. Creating beautiful work is what he loves though. Because of that fact, he had the opportunity to work as managing director of the best-selling magazine in Serbia, "Beauty&Health," as editor in chief of "Digital Camera Serbia," and to be a Fuji X ambassador. Managing and creative positions came from fast learning, his easy-going personality, and hard-working ethos.

With 17 years’ experience as a creative postproduction artist in New York, London and Los Angeles, Meredith has worked for some of the top fashion brands in the world and now runs her very own retouching studio.
