Bazillion Pictures sweep the ADDYs

Union Station Comes Alive - Quixotic, Bazillion Pictures and BIC Media

Bazillion Pictures won a Gold National ADDY at The American Advertising Federation (AAF) 2015 Award Show earlier this week for its work on the “Monument Comes Alive” project for Union Station in Kansas City. The studio’s team of artists created the 3D animation, motion graphics and visual effects, and crafted the architectural projection mapped video that transformed the iconic building into a giant canvas for its centennial celebration, in a multi-media visual experience that tells the story of Union Station and shows how it adapted and persevered throughout a tumultuous century. Produced by Quixotic, “The Monument Comes Alive” was powered by twelve 20K lumen HD digital projectors that seamlessly mapped the video to the intricate architectural details of the building. 
Bazillion Pictures also produced a behind-the-Scenes video that follows the making of the project, which itself won a Silver ADDY in the Direct Marketing/Specialty Items category.

Union Station Kansas City: “The Monument Comes Alive” also swept this year’s District 9 ADDY competition, garnering “Overall Best of Show,” and a Gold ADDY for “Projection Mapping - Elements of Advertising/Animation or Special Effects.” Bazillion Pictures was also awarded a Gold ADDY from the Kansas City AAF in the Advertising Industry/Self-Promotion-Digital Advertising category for “Groundhog – Undisclosed Weather Expert Tells All.”

 

MPC Creative and Childline win at Brand Republic Digital Awards

MPC Creative announced this week that the digital team in London have been awarded at the Brand Republic Digital Awards for their work on Child Helpline International's “Free Our Voices” campaign, in the Not For Profit/Public Service category. The project, which was the result of a collaboration between The Kennedy’s, Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam’s in-house creative incubator and MPC Creative, asks people to pledge their names and voices via an interactive online petition, in order to use the power of the collective voice-signatures to raise awareness and help the service gather the support it needs. The Brand Republic Digital Awards recognise those at the forefront of the world's most dynamic and fast moving communications industry. Representing today's all-encompassing digital landscape, the awards celebrate the ingenuity and imaginative use of technology in the UK's digital marketing and communications space.

 

DDB Mudra recognised at Triple A Asset Awards

In an award ceremony organised at Hong Kong, DDB Mudra Group was awarded with a Triple A Assets Award by Asset Publishing and Research for creating the Best Cash Management Solution in India for Deutsche Bank.

 The Asset Triple A Awards are Asia’s defining recognition for excellence in the financial industry. The announcement was made after a stringent awards process which involved a formal written submission, a half-day assessment meeting with the independent judging panel, and client interviews and feedback.

 The award winning entry explained the initiatives undertaken by DDB Mudra Group to start a major integration project with Omnicom and how the agency reviewed its banking and cash management requirements to ensure it was positioned for growth and global performance.

Brand & Deliver score hat trick at IPM Awards

Brand & Deliver scored a triple win at the annual (Institute of Promotional Marketing) IPM Awards earlier this week, including a Partnership Marketing Campaign award in recognition for an outstanding film partnership with Sony Pictures and two awards for their LG “Knock2Win” campaign. For Sony Pictures, the promotions team brought together The Amazing Spider-Man 2 together with Evian (Danone Waters) in a game changing partnership delivered globally. For LG, B&D created a digital campaign including an online game “Knock2Win” to showcase the LG G2 smartphone and in particular its “KnockOn” functionality, which allows users to wake the device simply by tapping twice on the screen. This campaign scooped awards in both the ‘Utilities & Technology’ and ‘Small Budget Campaign’ categories. “We’re thrilled to be recognised for both these campaigns, which demonstrate our ability to deliver unique creative ideas on vastly different budgets,” said Ben Gallop, CEO of Brand & Deliver. In related news, B&D also won a Brand Republic Digital Award for “Knock2Win” in the Communications category.
