Nunez will be reporting to Ogilvy Chicago president Lee Newman, who believes Nunez will bring a certain “X-factor” to the agency's “Already strong strategic offering.” He praises Nunez as a “Master storyteller with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns on behalf of some of the world's most respected global brands," and said he is excited for the experienced storyteller to lead the agency's “Talented planning team in delivering creative and effective work” for their clients.

Nunez has worked in the communications industry for over two decades in 17 countries across four continents, so it's fair to say he's more than experienced enough to do the job. He has worked as a strategist consultant for both Young & Rubicam and Euro RSCG, and as a strategist at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he worked for 11 years, eventually earning the title; “Guest of Honour of the Worldwide Strategy Committee.” In 2007, he became partner at SCPF WPP, helping them launch their Miami hub, before founding his own company “Story and Strategy: company two years later, which focused on storytelling, something he has valid experience in as an author and speaker. His latest book (called “Storytelling in a Week”), explores how personal stories can change the way we connect with and understand others. He's also acted as an advisor to major companies like McDonald's and HP, has lectured at the ESADE Business School, writes articles for El Pais and the Harvard-Deusto Business Review, and participates in various Latin American radio and TV shows.

Colin Mitchell, worldwide head of planning at Ogilvy & Mather is “Delighted to welcome Antonio to the Ogilvy Planning family," and “Can't wait to work with him.” He feels Nunez is such a great fit for the agency because he fulfils the criteria set forth by the agency's founder, David Ogilvy, namely; “A global citizen with eclectic interests, a real appreciation for brands and "gentle manners." Nunez himself was attracted to Ogilvy Chicago “Because it has proven to have the most global mindset in the Midwest and it´s a truly multidisciplinary team.” He says his passion for the last twenty years has been “Crafting meaningful stories based on simple human emotions that ignite conversations and spark debate," and he is “Very excited to begin a new story together" with his new team at Ogilvy Chicago.
