Saatchi & Saatchi London announced yesterday that former Nike UK brand communications director Adam Collins, and Mother's Will Nicholls have been hired as managing partners at the agency. Both Collins and Nicholls will report to chief operating officer Katrien De Bauw, with Collins overseeing the Toyota and Kerry Foods business and Nicholls working on the Direct Line account. Of the appointments, De Bauw said the new hires are “Client partners with the talent, drive and experience of delivering great work that materially impacts client business,” and she feels and will make them ideal additions to the senior team.

Nicholls ran the Boots and UKTV accounts at Mother and worked on the agency's launch at The Trampery in Shoreditch. Prior to his time at Mother he worked as a joint client services director at Dare and head of Dare Labs and has also spent time at Nokia and BBH. Collins, meanwhile, helped found content agency Greens & Salad and spent seven years at Nike UK in senior roles based in the Netherlands, the US and the UK. He began his career at Leagas Delaney, JWT and Leo Burnett.

M&C Saatchi CEO Camilla Harrison is set to leave the agency to become chief executive and a partner at Anomaly London, only a year after being promoted to her current role. Harrison will be joining the London leadership team alongside chief strategy officer Stuart Smith, and executive creative directors Oli Beale and Alex Holder. Anomaly's co-founder and global chief executive Carl Johnson, said Harrison is the only person they considered for the role. He adds, “She was happy in her current role, but the entrepreneurial opportunity to leverage the power of the Anomaly brand and platform was too compelling for her to resist."

Meanwhile, Ben Moore, current Anomaly partner in London, will move to become director of global development, with a specific brief to work with Johnson to ensure that everything in the way of knowledge, talent, tools and technology is in place. Johnson said Moore is “Very smart with lots of excellent international experience,” but feels he was miscast in his earlier role. He feels the new role “Will suit him much better.” Harrison worked at Wieden + Kennedy, Leo Burnett and WCRS before joining M&C Saatchi in 2005. The agency called their departing CEO “Brilliant,” and said she will be “Greatly missed by all at Golden Square.” Her replacement is expected to be announced today.

Mediacom announced yesterday that Rob Weatherhead, operations director of their iLab division, will be leaving the company to join Tecmark, the multi-screen marketing agency after four years at the media agency. Weatherhead, who will be overseeing the delivery of marketing campaigns at Tecmark, said he's been excited about joining them “Since hearing about the agency’s plans for development in the market.” He is “Really happy to be a part of what’s going to be a really exciting time for Tecmark.” Tecmark's MD Richard Heyes feels the new appointment will create a significant boost for the company. He underline's Weatherhead's experience in the digital industries, which he feels will be invaluable as Tecmark “Look to capitalise on multi-screen and digital marketing.”
