Crimson Hexagon expands to WeWork's new South Bank location

Published by

The social media monitoring and analysis software company Crimson Hexagon, recently opened its new European headquarters on London's South Bank within the “WeWork London” workspace. The new office is home to a team that's expected to double in size by year's end. The company, whose clients include leading global organisations such as Microsoft, Paramount Pictures, Starbucks and Twitter, and leading agencies such as Edelman, Droga 5 and CP+B, creates bespoke software that lets brand managers and marketers alike analyse social media data with ease and use that data to make smart business decision. At the centre of Crimson Hexagon is its ForSight platform, which is powered by patented technology, and allows users access to the company's vast data library.

WeWork is also hosting an event for the Grand Opening of this new location tonight from 6:00 - 10:00: RSVP Here

The new office is home to a team that's expected to double in size by year's end

The Crimson Hexagon's in-house social media data library currently consists of over 500 billion posts of all shapes and sizes from across all corners of the internet; from blogs, forums, review sites, news sites, and all the major social media platforms. The library is also growing every day, with around a billion new social media posts indexed every two days, which allows the company to provide strategists with relevant, critical data to help them make real-time decisions, and historical data for more in-depth campaign planning. The company launched in the UK only two years ago in Regent Street in London, but has won some seriously impressive contracts in that short amount of time within the EMEA region, including London-based clients like Telefonica, Rightmove and EE, and top agencies such as Ogilvy, JWT London, M&C Saatchi and Carat.

How Crimson Hexagon “Use Social Data To Go Deeper Than Demographics”

Matthew Ogborn, the digital and social media editor for the IPA; the professional body for advertising in the UK and Crimson Hexagon clients, said that “ForSight has been an invaluable time-saving tool for both tracking coverage of core IPA initiatives and identifying trends to target in the future.” He says there is simply nothing else like it on the market from what he's seen in his heavily “Digitally-immersed role.” John Donnelly III SVP of global sales & marketing at Crimson Hexagon, said the company's “Global expansion is building momentum, with 40 percent year-on-year revenue growth.” He believes that “This new European office in one of the capital's most creative business environments” is a perfect fit for Crimson Hexagon, and knows that “Joining this new vibrant community was the right decision” was the right decision for not only their European team, but their “Rapidly growing international client base.”

The company is not resting on its laurels either, as they have recently announced a new feature for the ForSight platform called “Affinities,” an addition which “Quantifies the strength of relationship between interest segments and people engaged with brands and products online.” According to European sales director Luke Moore, Crimson Hexagon has “Seen a shift in clients wanting to go beyond the sentiment of first-generation technology so they can understand the opinions and the nuance behind that sentiment.” He feels they are uniquely placed to achieve this because of their “Patented technology developed at Harvard University,” which has been the primary catalyst for their dramatic growth in the region over the last 18 months.

Benjamin Hiorns is a freelance writer and musician from Kidderminster in the UK. He thinks “The Crimson Hexagon” would make quite a badass superhero.
