Buzzman shows the power of sport for Paris 2024

Published by

The Committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games has unveiled its vision for the event through a campaign created by agency Buzzman.

Entitled Sport Can Change Everything, the lead film is a collective call to push limits and get involved whether you’re a top-level athlete or casual amateur.

Paris 2024 hopes to shine a light on the unique power of sport to effect change, from the individual through to societal level.

The organisers have already begun hosting large-scale celebrations, such as the Journée Olympique (Olympics Day), which took place on 23 June at Place de la Concorde and across the whole of France.

For the first time,  a range of sporting events and incentives will be open to all around the Games, such as a public marathon to encourage people to embrace the occasion, whether as athletes, volunteers, torch-bearers or supporters.

The lead film for the campaign (below) is directed by Albert Albert at Iconoclast and is an ode to sport in all its forms. Accompanied by an electro soundtrack by Surkin, it shows a succession of ordinary people among images of sporting legends such as Tony Parker, Sarah Ourahmoune, Teddy Riner, Kevin Mayer and Raphaël Varane.

They explain how sport has changed their lives for the better in different ways and the work launched on TV channel France 3 on the same day as the initial celebrations took place in the capital.

The football Women’s World Cup is also currently taking place in Paris. Click here to see the best ads that recently launched for the event.
